The accommodation was adequate with nice cabins facing the ocean. Some of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Fast internet was a plus. the views from the hotel were quite breathtaking.

It's a shame that the breakfast and lunch buffets didn't have as many options as expected.

Beware of the owner harassing the girls

In general: This review is long overdue but I finally thought i have to address the issues that is going on with this establishment. The hotel is situated in Uppuweli, one of the quiet neighbourhoods in Trincomalee. This is one of the only hotels that has a rooftop pool which is very nice to enjoy the sunsets. However the lack of hygiene of the rooms and amenities kinda ruined our whole holiday. Well that was the start. The owner Athula, should realize that he is a married man. He sounds charming at first with all the "yogi" attitude he maintains but he is a liar. He makes inappropriate advances on women and it is quiet pathetic. When his charms won't work he becomes hostile. These guys are only after the money and lust. I left as soon as I booked another hotel couple blocks away. And from what I've gathered from the people who were working on there, owners doesn't pay the salaries on time, the staff meals are messed up and they constantly accuse their workers so they can fire them without paying a penny. I think Sri Lanka is a really good country and the people are super nice. But people like this simply drag the country's reputation to hell. If this hotel was under a proper management I think it would have gotten much more profits.

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel facilities were great, especially the swimming pool and the beach, just a few seconds away. I loved the delicious and varied breakfast options that were served every morning. Lastly, the location was perfect and offered great transportation options.

No negatives from this place.

This hotel truly embodies the essence of luxury and exclusivity. the private facilities in our room were exceptional, with high-end amenities that exceeded our expectations. the outdoor swimming pool was an oasis of tranquility, surrounded by a lush garden area that provided a serene atmosphere. the staff provided impeccable service, catering to our every need.

While the restaurant and bar/lounge area were fantastic, we would have preferred to enjoy our meals in an outdoor setting.

We had a great New Year at a beach hotel. The location was amazing, with the sea just a few steps away and stunning sea views from our room. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we particularly enjoyed the delicious seafood and Sri Lankan cuisine served in the restaurant. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds to relax in.

We encountered a few issues during our stay. The curtains in our room didn't fully darken the room, which made it difficult to sleep in.

The resort's beachfront location, comfortable beds, hot showers, friendly and accommodating staff, easy tuk tuk service.
